The congress venue is located a few kilometers from the city of Dubrovnik, a world-renowned historical site. Dubrovnik is known for its rich history, unique Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture and well preserved, massive city walls. Its origins date back to Roman times, and for much of history Dubrovnik was a free state and self-governing republic owing its wealth and prosperity to maritime trade and diplomacy. Today, it is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in Croatia and the Mediterranean. Due to its outstanding historical and cultural significance, it is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Dubrovnik is easy to reach from Srebreno by public transportation (local buses no. 10, 16 and 16A).
